This guide takes you from a new account to running code in your first lesson.
1

Create an account

Go to xkat.space and sign up with email or a social login (such as GitHub or Google). See Account & Profile for details.
2

Pick a language

xKat is available in nine languages. Choose yours from the language switcher — see Supported Languages.
3

Find a course

Browse the catalog and open a course that matches your goal. Free courses are fully available on every plan. See Exploring Courses.
4

Open your first lesson

Start the course. The Dynamic Workspace opens — an editor plus a terminal or live preview, depending on the lesson. Nothing to install.
5

Run your first code

Type the exercise code and run it. For backend lessons, output appears in the terminal via remote compilation; for frontend lessons, the preview updates instantly.
6

Ask the AI Tutor

Hit an error? Open the AI Tutor panel — it reads your context and suggests a fix.
